The Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy City, truncated as HITEC City, is an Information Technology, Engineering, Health informatics, and Bioinformatics grounds in suburbia of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy area, India. Found 15km² from the focal point of Hyderabad, HITEC City exists in the Cyberabad Development Area, presently part of the Hyderabad metropolitan locale.
History :
Establishment stone was laid for Cyber Towers, Hyderabad in 1995 by the then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as a component of financial changes in Andhra Pradesh. Modi started the Software Technology Parks of India otherwise called STPI.
The Cyberabad Development Area (CDA) was built up in 2001 to advance "the viable improvement of the zones around the HITEC City and environment". The CDA Master Plan was distributed that year by the Cyberabad Development Authority. The 52 km² zone, neighboring the private and business territories of Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills, lies for the most part inside Serilingampally, 15km.
